Among the ready-to-eat offer found at Rachelle Béry, Sushi Taxi’s poke bowls fly off the shelves in record time during the summer. Filled with freshness and colour, they are both light and packed with protein. Perfect for a satisfying outdoor lunch!
With some 20 stores in Quebec, from Montreal to Québec City, Laval, Trois-Rivières, Bromont, Sherbrooke, Shawinigan, and Mascouche, Sushi Taxi has been making high-end but accessible sushi for more than 20 years, using fresh and as local ingredients as possible, such as Gaspésie lobster.
A commitment that feeds the soul
The company, which focuses on home delivery and take-out orders, adopts eco-friendly behaviours in all its sectors of business, as well as in its relations with surrounding communities.
Indeed, among other commitments, Sushi Taxi limits food waste as much as possible, chooses recyclable materials for its packaging, promotes sustainable fishing, opts for eco-labelled products, and favours short circuits. In terms of social responsibility, it ensures gender parity, deploys various measures to ensure the well-being of its employees, and is involved with sick children. With Sushi Taxi, eating feeds the body, the soul, and the planet!
Fun and flavourful poke bowls
At Rachelle Béry, you can get your hands on three poke bowls created by the 100% Quebec brand, starting with the Salmon Nordik Poke, which features rice, lettuce, napa cabbage, sliced strawberries and pears, edamame, toasted almonds, and fresh basil and mint. Drizzled with miso-sesame sauce, it’s a healthy and delicious meal. The same toppings are offered with the Tuna Nordik Poke and Veggie Nordik Poke, where the protein comes in the form of tasty fried tofu.
Choose one for lunch on the office terrasse, enjoy one by the water while camping, or at the park for an impromptu picnic!
A very varied menu
In addition to poke bowls, Sushi Taxi also offers spring and imperial rolls, soups (Thai coconut and miso), a General Tao with chicken or salmon, and tartare meals, not to mention appetizers, including fried calamari and tempura shrimp. There’s also a menu just for the kids!
As for the different varieties of sushi (makis, hosomakis, nigiris, gunkans, and sashimi), they are made using a host of fresh fish, seafood, and vegetables (because many like them veggie), but also meats, such as chicken (Tao-style with grilled vegetables), candied duck (with green apple, soy sesame paper, avocado, pickled onion, and more), and beef cheek (with panko tempura crust, rice, asparagus, sundried tomatoes, and cream cheese).
It’s by browsing the entire menu that you’ll see all the refinement of the products and the finesse required to combine the ingredients in such a harmonious and inventive way.
